Pigtown – A Rustic, Romantic Zombie Comedy
Set in an idyllic Finnish village, Pigtown tells the story of a zombie virus that spreads through a local pig farm, turning the pigs and eventually the villagers into bloodthirsty monsters. As chaos erupts, a fierce battle for survival begins. The film offers a darkly humorous and thrilling glimpse into small-town life, mixing splatter horror, romance, and sharp-witted comedy in the heart of the Finnish summer.
The screenplay has been developed with the support of the Finnish Film Foundation and Arts Promotion Centre Finland.

Pigtown Filming Kicks Off During Huhtamo International Film Festival
Filming for Pigtown will take place during the Huhtamo International Film Festival, which in 2025 celebrates its fifth anniversary from July 17–27
